Hey there, nice to meet you! My name is Gretchen Olivares, and I’m the owner and creative behind Aly Am Paperie!

I’m a wife to my amazing husband, Greg, and mother to two awesome girls, Alyssa and Amber – who were the inspiration behind the store’s name, Aly Am. I’ve lived in San Antonio since 2001 and love staying involved in my community through volunteering at several organizations. I served as president of the ILEA-San Antonio Chapter, I currently serve on the programs, membership, and gala committees of ILEA, the gala committee of NACE, and am a member of AAHA.

Family means so much to me, and it is an honor for me to help bring to life the stationery that starts your happily ever after! I love sitting down with my clients one-on-one to help them figure out the details that will create the vision they have for their invitations. It is so important to make an invitation informative to the celebrations detail but also make it memorable as it will be a keepsake of your very special day. That’s why our motto is “Celebrating Life’s Special Moments.”

I’m committed to designing stationery that will make your guests take notice. From Save the Date to thank you cards, great gifts and everything in between, we design your custom invitation ensemble that will set the theme of the day, deliver vital information and make your guest giddy with joy to attend. We create custom invitations from pre-existing samples, past designs we have created or whatever design ideas you have. To make your dream a reality we prefer you set up an appointment so that we can make every detail correct for your special day.
